Josh failed corn last weekend, so corn is out for a year. I decided (foolishly) to go ahead and keep dairy in my diet since he tested negative for dairy on his SPT...

He's had rosy cheeks (one of his allergic symptoms) within 2 hours of nursing after I've eaten dairy. He also had the "bullseye rash" the first time, and this time his rosy cheeks have gotten worse after each nursing session (I had a cup of milk and 2 grilled swiss sandwiches). He's also starting to get VERY goofy and he's not going to sleep- 2 other symptoms of a reaction. So, although he might not be ALLERGIC to dairy, he's probably sensitive. Well, that, or he's allergic to rice, and if that's the case, I might as well shoot myself right now.

Avoiding corn sucks badly enough- having to cut out dairy ON TOP OF that is even worse. He's allergic to wheat, too, which means that all analogs are out, and he's allergic to eggs. That leaves grains (other than wheat and corn), potatoes, beans/soy, fruits, veggies, and seeds (we're avoiding nuts, since he tested positive for peanuts). On the plus side, I'll surely lose weight and I'll become much more creative in my cooking...
