Well, we're definitely getting more answers in this season. It's some sort of huge project (yay for being obscure), and that's about all I can figure out right now.
Wtf was with the last few minutes? More confusing than last season, for sure. the woman (Sonya Walger) who plays Desmond's girlfriend is always playing those British types, I don't think she ever had to put on another accent :P
To be honest, I'm not completely upset with Michael. I keep thinking about if there was a better way to do it, and it's hard to figure out what else he could've done. Most of the personalities clash (which would happen when people are together, obviously), and so rational thinking would be hard to come by when the time to attack 'the others' came along.
Therefore, Michael did what he believed to be right and saved himself and his son. I think it's a bit suspicious that he is supposed to steer the boat though, that's a little freaky. I mean, what if it's all a trick or if he gets stranded somewhere else?
The Desmond storyline is really interesting. Same with his interaction with Locke.
