Rasko, I'm absolutely following what you're saying. I'm concerned with the blatant display of insensitivity toward a very large group of people who would find that offensive. Children mostly know what they've experienced. How would a kid feel seeing something like that after being teased on the playground for years for being a half breed. It can also give other children fuel to continue being ignorant as all holy hell.
It would be similar to making a Watermelon Wanda Barbie, Towel head Tammi, or a Dole Banana sponsored Asian Barbie. Large corporations like Mattel should be aware when creating products that are supposed to represent different cultures in a positive light.
Personally, I am not thaaat offended. I suppose a better word for my reaction to the product is *shocked*.
