I hate to even enter this conversation because the level of discourse oscillates between people playing with their feces, nihilistic OCD and well meant rants, with a couple of sensibles who seem to be checking out quite quickly.
But, I am gay, I have been with my husband in a monogamous relationship for 8 years and got married 2 years ago in SF. We're fine we're going to Barcelona for two weeks in June, our dog Eddy is the sweetest girl ever. Neither of us are diseased. I am a Christian, my husband isn't. And while it was tough getting beatup in Jr High and High School, I found the person I love finally and we're doing great.
I like designer furniture. I collect art books and am particularily proud of my collection of early Graphis Annuals. We both snowboard and mountain bike regularly. I have an insane collection of Nike running shoes.
I drank a bottle of Veuve Cliquot last night at my husbands MFA graduation from CalArts and then checked out the graphic design show here which is amazing. Had a wonderful walk on the beach in Santa Barbara yesterday and the dog played in the surf.
So its not that bad. A straight couple holding hands smiled at us as we held hands walking down the beach. Was that you?
