My point was in regards to why marriage has traditionally been between a man and a woman, Crouwel.
I personally do not have ill will ftoward any homosexuals who marry. I try to love and respect everybody regardless of who they are or what their "lifestyle choice" is. I do not think i am better than anyone. My issue is not with individuals, but with protecting the traditional covenant of marriage as I believe it is foundational to the moral climate of a nation. I don't just say this because I "feel" this way. History seems to demonstrate it's crucial importance in preserving healthy nations. I am concerned about children growing up with what they are programmed from birth to require - strong nurturing from both a father and a mother.
