"Studies have shown that children thrive and develop best with a father and mother in a traditional marriage setting. Don't hate me, hate the studies which support this."
the study is not solid. as it lacks the study of married gay couples raising children.
and still, i'd rather see a hopeless 3rd world child being raised with a gay couple with good standards but mostly morals then to let it suffer the INFINITLY more destructive prospects it has where it lives now.
