Hate 'em. As a species they are on par with estate agents. Middling middle men that aren't too bright. Though I've made a few good clients out of them after me and the client convened and figured out that we were both paying way above the odds to said agent for effectively having a 5 minute conversation and arranging an introduction.
Won't use them anymore, it is much more effective to drum up freelance work myself when I am in the need for it, which thankfully hasn't been much lately.
