sometimes I really wonder the age of some of you designers out there. Some of your ideas are simply not too mature.
"Dazed and Confused" is a terrible magazine as a whole. There are aspects that shine but the editorial has no position or perspective(UGH!) "Wall Paper" still bleeds bigger is better which is the "COSMOPOLITAN" of design mags. The so called geniouses at FABRICA have not a clue of what to do with all those glorious photos--simply read Nation Geographic! There are a few magazines that really do get it:
Harpers Bazaar has some of the best writers around.
The Harvard Business Review actually has valuable content-beautiful design.
Punk Planet is a beeeeuuuutiful read and pure design control!!!
But by far the most hormonious blend of art and literature without ever losing there purpose is Wired Magazine-the research they put into there features is amazingthe best magazine of all times would be Rolling Stone (60s-80s)
