do your room situation like kOna said. There are also cheaper rates just off of the strip at lower end hotels like Gold Coast and The Orleans. They're like a 10 minute walk from the Strip, or a 5 minute cab ride (traffic).
Clubs... so many... the top ones are PURE, Tao, Body English, Rain, Ghostbar, ReHab Pool Party (on Sundays only), Tryst;
