what's totally crazy is that one of my best friends (who I moved to Chicago with) hosts rock and roll karaoke here in Chicago.
Turns out they're trying to go play in Tokyo with a booking agency, and he'd be going to host them. I guess karaoke with live bands is a new thing there and getting pretty popular.
So, there's the slight chance that their group and my friend could be there at the same time.
