doesn't the portrait work just consist of tracing an image that's laid on the skin. i understand all the shading / technique are good, but it's not like they freehand the portraits right?

(May 12 06, 08:30)maybe on a flat part of the body, but i know it takes work to make an tattoo look right when it wraps around muscles and arms, etc.. they probably have to make adjustments to it.
