they're pretty good. In fact around Covent Garden in general you'll find Rough Trade Records (in the basement of a skater shop). Think it's in Neils yard? Wander over to Soho and you'll find some comic stores. Steve's Sounds is good for very cheap cds on the edge of China Town. And there's some good vinyl places on berwick street (nr soho). That's all from memory so don't hold me to it.
