I got 3 friends that moved to japan with their girlfriends (now wives)
None of them speaks japanese well. 2 of them know nothing.
The one that speaks a little bit is doing ok and has on office job somewhere.
The other two haven't had that much luck. One of them is working as a construction worker and the other one only found a part-time job as an english teacher, eventhough he can barely speak english.So pretty much for what I have seen it's a bit hard to find a good job without knowledge of japanese. Maybe you could just try to find a job as an english teacher, and tutor on your spare time and do some freelance stuff on the side
