Exactly, there is very strong protection for whistle blowers these days. I'm not saying I'd do it... but imagine that your boss is really shitty to you at salary review time and you happen to know about some dodgy software.... I mean come on.
The thing is that I know loads of design companies that use 1 stolen photoshop license for 10+ designers.
