As a side note, when I was younger, all the kids I ever met with a shock of curly blonde hair like that were genius athletes.
It kind of freaked me out until I watched the final episodes of the original Battlestar Galactica series, where the kids who came to Earth became super smart from our lower gravity.
Then it all kind of made sense.
So, freebie scholarship or not, your kid'll be OK, Cap'n Apollo!
