22K for 50hrs a week seems pretty low. I would say stick with the job for a year if you can for the solid experience on your resume. Only you can tell when the time is right but ask for a good size raise at least by the one year mark or before. Be well prepared with many points to back up why you are worth what you are asking for. A list of standard salary info could help too. It wouldn't hurt to take a serious look at what is out there and leave when something better comes along if necessary.
