My girl said the same thing about that scene. I think it was just to show the passion and love Neo and trinity felt, you need scenes like that when the star isnt a strong actor. And the dancing my girl said "black people always gotta be dancing" my reply was that I was happy to see them in the future cause in other flicks its like the robots killed the black folk first and then was like ... oh we forgot the white people...might as well kill them too.
