u doing this yourself or more professionally
when we sreen print photo bsed stuff, we always find it easier to go to superfine halftones and choose spots from there
many times we will break up a phot o into highs mids lows in terms of tonage and bitmap all of them and then lay them on top of each other
maybe too simple of a look for you but you'd be surprised how good it can look just 4ft back
mostly rock poster techniques mind you
