I cannot agree with you more, visualplane!!
In my old place, I lived upstairs from an 80 year old landlord. He was already a bit of a prick. But, he eventually began ot succumb to dementia and became meaner. He accused me weekly of not paying rent. I had to give him endless copies of the checks which he had already signed and deposited. Absolute nightmare!
A vacuum at 6:30 am is a blessing in comparison, although it still sucks. (Haha, "sucks" get it?)
