    i never intimated that illegal migration was an appropriate thing to do. i just think that it speaks volumes about the one-sided nature of the debate that somehow the country of origin and whether or not it's classed as economically viable in your eyes should end up being the key factor in the way that you feel about immigration to the states, effectively putting the argument on a case-by-case playing field, which is what the uk is attempting to do at the moment, dividing immigrants into two classes; desirable and undesirable.

    and, yes, thinman, i am an immigrant. i happen to be a legal one, and in this country what they would class as a desirable one, but even as a legal immigrant, i have chosen to live with fewer rights than the native population has. that's a choice i've made so that i can have a better life and never, ever have to return to the corrupt, diseased, obese and souless country where i was born.
