they never found the owner in the end.
what gets me is that nobody involved in that discussion noticed that one of the women who started the whole thing was expressing outrage that in this day and age, her four-year-old neighbour wouldn't touch anything pink (because pink is a girl's colour), saying:
"I had to really supress my feelings because it wasn’t his fault that his father was teaching him that kind of stuff..."
eh? you dizzy bitch? can't mothers teach sexism?
