    Look into the texturing options. You can 'unfold' the object to make it 2D, save out, then open in Photoshop to create the textures.

    I dont' know about numbers, though, nor do I know how exact it will be for physical construction. Max was not made for this type of thing.

    Look into FormZ or programs like Rhino, SolidWorks, etc., that are geared towards physical production.
