hey Bio,
i dont know if I would give such a percentage, but if you feel confortable, do it man.
just an idea, but maybe you could come up with some kind of flat fee per $dollar interval, for example... every $100, they get $10...every $500, they get $50, etc...
the tough tthing with having a salesperson, especially if they are not designers, they sometimes offer clients and prospects "false hopes" and dont have the $$ pricing structure thing down realistically.
