Most implementations of flash websites drive me nuts. I believe there are a few programmers out there that can make efficient flash sites.
However in my personal opinion I hate flash sites. I usually just want my content without having to worry about what is going to flash across the screen.
But that being said I'm probably not the target audience for most of these sites.
However I do love DIOR:
