I kind of know what you mean with the whole "money all around" thing. I live in Westchester COunty right outside of NYC and everyone drives a Mercedes or BMW. When I first moved here the first thing I noticed that there was rarely any American made cars, aside form a lexus, on the streets.
I take the train everyday and every one that gets on at certain stops like Chappaqua (where president clinton now lives) and White Plains all sport the bling-bling. It sucks but just keep pressing yourself and realize that you can do that to someday.
