    Just recently shot a commercial on the JVC GY-HD100 in 720 24p mode.
    It was a real pain to get the rushes digitized in final cut as 24p is still not supported.
    I finally was able to do it using lumiereHD which is a capture soft that handles 24p.
    The image quality is amazing. We shot in 24p because we shot for cinema. The blow up looks very good.
    I could only recommend shooting on HDV. The image quality is really great for that price. Just make sure you plan your post before you start the project.
    I would suggest you have a look at the new P2. It does 1080p!! I saw the camera at cameraimage. Top at the moment in that price category.
