are frames still a taboo?

I have to use frames for a project I'm working on right now.

The client wouldn't allow me to build the page entirely in CSS as there are still some browsers out there that can't handle certain elements.

So I'm building the page as a hybrid. CSS and HTML tables/frames (only on one page).

Really, if you want my honest opinion... who cares?

The only guy who will ever compliment you on a 100% CSS site is some web nurd on a design blog.... the client will never know the difference as long as his site works.

Lets be honest with each other here.

Build what works and what the client will be happy with and who gives a damn what a designer on a blog says about you using frames, and or tables.
