    haring your music across computers
If your computer is connected to any other computers over a local network and you're using iTunes 4.5 or later, you can share the music in your library and playlists with up to five of those computers (the other computers need to be in the same subnet as your computer and also running iTunes 4.5 or later). Sharing is intended for personal use only.

You can share MP3, Apple Lossless, AIFF, WAV, AAC, and radio station links; you can't share Audible spoken word content or QuickTime sound files.

    1.

Choose iTunes > Preferences, then click the Sharing button at the top of the window.

    2.

Select the "Share my music" checkbox, then choose your library or the playlists you want to share.

    3.

Type a name for your shared items in the "Shared name" box, and a password if desired. When you're done, click OK to close the preferences window.

The shared name you enter appears in the Source list on any other local computers (in the same subnet) running iTunes and set up to look for shared music. If you select Require Password, users will need to enter that password before they can see your shared music.

You need to leave iTunes open for users on other computers to see your shared libraries and playlists.

use the "help" in itunes for more info
