It's kind of like that scene in "Back to School"
They're at the bar and a couple of the college guys start fucking with Rodney and his kid. Rodney calls to his bodyguard who doesn't even get up from the table, he just looks at the guys starting shit, grabs the stainless steel napkin container and crushes it in his hand without flinching.
The guys run off.
America is basically crushing the napkin holder as a scare taktic, hoping the douchbags who mean to cause harm will think twice about it and run off like the cowards they are.
