1. france is big you might wanna see beachtowns like biartiz.... visit paris for sure,
2. as for swiss: one word: Lausanne
it's a beautiful city with a good vibe, i stayed at the campground wich is down by the geneva lake, from there it's a ten minute walk to the city, it's a 4 star campsite but it isn't really expensive, there a are a lot of younger people on the campsite... like age 20-25, from different countries...i hope i was helpful, i went to lausanne 3 times and had a great time every single time
