sounds like a bad power supply to me. but could be more serious . . if you haven't had it long, it has apple care on it so you should be covered to get it fixed for free .. if there is an apple retail store in the area, take it there. if not, call 1.800.APL.CARE and they will send you a box to ship it to them in for free. good luck.
