nathan, one of the 3 of those that is the most distressed is used with tees.
look at it closely, change the distress colour by clicking on it wit hthe white arrow tool [A] and match the distress to the background colour of the tee itself.
it works great, i created that distress specificly for teeshirts or for vintage looking leathers.
