There is a big difference between the two.
You are in fear of something that hasn't happened and I am in responding to events that have already occured.
You fear your privacy will be taken. You fear you American luxuries are at risk. You fear of what the rest of the world thinks. You fear things have gotten worse in Iraq. You fear that Bush is getting rich. You fear this country is falling.
I fear none of the above and am completely opposite. I want to avoid another 9-11 and there has not been another since.
