Thank you canuck.
These are serious issues that this woman fights for. Anthony and I are really happy to be able to help her in any fashion. I for one am very glad that people like her exist in this world. I doubt many of us on this forum, including myself, can say that we care so selflessly about something as fervently as this woman. The problem is that when your work revolves around something that 1. costs a lot to produce and 2. doesn't have a whole lot of financial 'return' involved, you tend to need benefactors. It's people who voice opinions like uberdesigner / not_lebowski that iritate the shit out of me. If we all pitch in in small doses we can help people create art that benefits society as a whole.
It's not that one person creating a video is supposed to solve the problems of Africa. It's that one person creating a video can spark a fire in the rest of us, provided that the content has the proper impact.
I watched the video of the dvd packaging I just redesigned. It was a great film about the re-introduction of wolves in Idaho. My biggest complaint was that it was just too short. If she had the proper funding she could have made a bigger, more indepth impact. We're hoping that we can help her solve issues such as these. Only time and levels of participation from generous people can make that kind of difference.
