this summer, on one of the hottest days of the year, i was on the upper deck of a sweltering, stinking bus in east london that was overcrowded with a bunch of genetically modified potatoes dressed up in human suits.
one of them popped the pimple on another one's neck right in front of my face. i am saying that this took place no more than one foot away from my face.
i started to think that perhaps fainting was not just an unfortunate byproduct of corsets that went the way of the dodo sometime after the victorian era. i nearly lost consciousness from the disgust welling up in my chest.
