We validated the top 10. Which ended up legit. For us to validate every person that got in 1200+ boards would have taken more than a week to do.
Next time around only 100 are going to make it in from a preliminary judging round. Then it will be the same system as this time. It will also allow us to have a bigger spread of votes to choose the winner. So the crap won't get in.
