    i think the word funny was incorrectly used in the place of ironic

    i mean she was miss deaf texas

    a supposed shining example that deaf people can overcome obstacles and not be pigeon-holed by disabilities

    this gains its ironic status due to the fact she was miss deaf texas the best female deaf person in the sate

    and she didn't have enough sense about her to steer clear of a train she knows she could not hear
