janne, i frankly didn't care for the last round of guilders beforer the euro. although they were technically advance, they were really bland and technocratic, they had no emotional warmth at all. They were just all weird patterns.

(Mar 14 06, 10:55)i agree. but i was really amazed when i touched it for the first time, it had so much texture and fine qualities. but yes, the design was rather cold. the bill did not live long anyway.
