dont forget, transporation, food, utilities, girl or boy friend, drugs and beer, all must be added into your 1500-2000.
remember its more like $4000 per month and dont let anyone fool you that its not.
yes some people dont spend that much but i know a lot of people that spend a lot more.
you are putting a lot into rent on one person, get a roomate and start saving to buy instead of renting.
if you are willing to spend 1500 and up alone, then i suggest brooklyn or queens to get the best and the biggest your money can take you.
an apartment in manhattan is location supreme but smaller apts. not to say you cant find a great apt in manhattan, but there is a million people who are super hungry looking for that manhattan deal so you have to be quick and fast to get it.
