i have friends in the lower east side that pay about $1300 for a studio, i live in williamsburgh, the price difference isn't much cheaper, but ther are sometimes little diamonds in the rough. My girlfriends got a spot for $600, railroad style apt, by herself. But those are FEW and FAR between. So i'd say for a studio/1 bed, anywhere from $1000-1400 (those are spots in williamsburgh)
