I am also getting married in September, and I think you are also wrong.
I don't think it's outdated, or unpopular. Certainly in the UK, as Gays can get married it has changed. I'm not getting married in a church, something else which has changed.
If anything the trend of marriages breaking up, is lowering due to the finacial implications of such a step, coupled with a rise in the cost of living.
So if anything, it is becoming more relivant than it used to be.
but that's just my oppinion, and far be it from me to stop someone taking the piss out of something.
Maybe the Liberal party could be of some inspiration?
