as a man getting married september 8 of this year i can tell you you are completely wrong.
don't belive the tv hype. true love still exists and the idea of a soul mate isn't just a fairytale dreamed up in novels with fabio on the cover.
i can't wait to shove the 70% divorce rate up dr. phils ass when i'm celebrating my 50yr anniversary with my soon to be wife.
maybe this ideal you speak of is the new black.
much like 'what happens in vegas stays in vegas' i believe is the cop out for the weak who have no self control, i believe this ideal is also a nice cop out excuse for your own fuckups as a partner in marriage.
but that's just me.
we all think different.
