Scratch's idea is cute.
You could have a small 'hill' rise up, and the animal could walk out onto it. Then, the you zoom out quickly from the hill to realize it's the top of the 'S' in the name. Meanwhile, the animal is left dangling in the air and falls away, almost comically. The site and 'product' both lend itself to a really cutesy intro like that.
I actually like what you have, though.
