The raw edge that Hard-Fi have over more normal Britpop bands is in a new formula, coming on from where Oasis and Cast left the H.M.S Britpop but with many different influences. Sure the tunes of Beatles are in the mix but coming through the haze is more of an Urban groove! The new delivery from HardFi marrys old Spesials and cool Reggae vibes with a large melody 'ratio' of a boyband. But Hardfi are not looking back in anger, some might say this is old but with this music the union jack is flying high again. The singles are striking, and it may well go down well in the Clubs because of iits dance grooves not seen since the Era of Madchester in the Mid 90's. (The HardFi CD design in yelow and black can be read as a homage to the Acid smile of the 90s).The potential singles are Cash Machine. Lack of materials toward the end of the album lower things, and some songs are boring but Stars of CCTV should crack the more traditional end of Britpop with urban summer sounds! 4/5
--------------i have made a illustration for it to. so i have just done the acid smiley face on the CCTV screen in yellow and black!!
