i saw them first in '89 on the "when loves comes to town tour". i have been a big fan, i saw every tour, visited at least two concerts of the tours... i am very dissapointed of the last album and the last tour. may be its just that im getting older, but i am not into stadium-concerts anymore... no atmosphere... they still are very hard to beat live, but not in stadiums. and yes, this africa thing gets on your nerves... its not that one shouldnt acknowledge what bono is doing, but he should concentrate in music, or leave the music behind and do the politicain thing... just because this was "my" band when i was 16, i am afraid now that u2 become the new "stones": bad looking grandfathers behaving like twens...
