today i called them and now suddenly when "my lawyer will be.." is spoken they start to say oh yeah the check is here. SO I got a check today for all the print work I did. As for web work, she basically said upyours I had to hire someone else. Florida is a great state- you can put a lien on there house. What does that mean -well the "client" is in the process of selling her home, when they go to sign the papers the lien against it shows up and the purchase cannot go thru without it being resolved. SO If she decides not to sell now then whenever she does 1 yr. 5 yrs. or 10 years from now I will get paid. Only I at this point have the ability to recoup my money before the property can be sold.
I assume this will be applicable in any state. Regardless of wether they are seling their home, you can put a lien on their primary resisdence and it stays on there until it is resolved.
More then anything its a freaking headache from hell to deal with
