i remember as a kid, i went there when iwas about 14 or 15..
i was pretty excited, as i'd heard it had a nice boardwalk by the beach, and stuff like that..
see, as a younger kid, my family and i had spent a few summers in spain, on the Costa Brava...so what the hell, i figured maybe it'd be like that..uh.
no.not even close..
maybe i was spoiled by the natural beauty of spain...and maybe i'd just assumed the boardwalk would be similar..
but i remember my exact thought as we finally made it to Myrtle Beach..
what i thought was
"what the fuck is this?"which is totally unfair..but what the hell did i know?...
