Some of the scenes and lines from Brokeback were questionable, but overall it was definitely a better film than Crash.
And how are people going to remember Crash more than they're going to remember Brokeback? If anything, people will remember Brokeback more, just for the controversy surrounding the topic, and the lack of awards.
