I used to live in JP right between the pond and Costello's Pub on Borough Street. I loved it.
JP is by far the best area to live in, because it's close enough to Boston by T and bus. There are plenty of great irish pubs and good places to eat. There's a great arts scene there too. I went to Mass Art while in JP for a 8 year stint.Loved it.
