"WHY THE F*CK ARE YOU SO CONCERNED ABOUT A MULTIMILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION MAKING THEIR MONEY? "
First of all, I'm just stating my opinion. When did trying to have a smart discussion become an attack?
I could care less about the corporation. I care about the fact that the software would be cheaper for those of us who buy it if most of the copies weren't stolen. And the money we pay for the software goes back into new versions which help us all.
My problem isn't with the piracy. It's the fact that by stealing software you are basically saying that the developers of the software don't deserve to get paid for their work and their time should be free. As designers I would think that this would be an issue we are all sensitive to.
Also In my last post I said I have no problem with people getting free software to learn, but if you are making money off someone else's work, you owe them. If someone got a job off your design wouldn't you be pissed? How is this different?
Also, like I said, there are legit ways to get cheap software (beta testing).
All I want is a discussion...not an argument.
